Day 1: Travel from Nairobi City to Mombasa via Train

Your 4 days trip begins by boarding a train in the early morning where you will be met for briefing and ticket issuing from Abana Safari representative. Your luggage will be loaded to the train and off the journey starts. You will proceed through the Athi Kapiti plains where sightseeing starts as the amazing earth formations. You will pass various towns like Sultan Hamud, Emali, and many more. You will proceed further through the dry terrain past Yatta plateau, the longest plateau in Kenya, which covers around 300km. After the long drive with or without a stopover at Mtito wa Ndei is worthy while to get refreshed and lunch just before proceeding further past Voi. The change of climate and natural setting is obvious as the grasslands give way to the appearance of the tropical vegetation nearing Mombasa. You will therefore arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon. After checking in, you will have time to relax as you acquaint yourselves with the hotel before getting to the restaurant for dinner at around 7.30 pm. Day 2:  Bamburi Nature Trail – Haller Park

After a sumptuous breakfast you can go to the swimming pool or the ocean. Later at around 11 in the morning, you can visit Mombasa, and in the afternoon, from 1: 00 p.m., Proceed to yet another adventure as you visit the former Bamburi nature trail currently called Haller Park. This is the only place in Kenya where you can see the giant tortoises in large numbers and go close to even touching them or sitting on them. This is a place where learning takes place as nature leads the talk. You will be guided through the trails to the fishponds and through the crocodile firm. This nature park was once a limestone quarry, and now provides an attractive home for a variety of plant, bird and animal species. Popular attractions include the Crocodile Farm, Reptile Park, Palm Garden and Game Sanctuary. While here, chance to meet the newest celebrities; an inseparable couple, hippo Owen and his adoptive ‘mother’, a 120-year-old tortoise named Mzee. Later in the evening, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 3 – ‘City of Merchants’ – Mombasa City Tour

In the morning after breakfast 8:30am we embark on a fascinating historical excursion – as you discover the past, present and future of the Mombasa city on a 4 hour tour.

Day 4 – Wild waters

On this day, you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel then later proceed to wild waters park. The park has over 15 adult and kids’ slides, a water play station, a one-of-a kind radiance arena, variety of amusement and air rides, and bumper cars. Later in the afternoon we can spare some time to visit the Mombasa Go Kart. Karting is a track racing event with small, rear-engined, 4 wheeled vehicles. Many rally and formula drivers started with karting, notably Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton. It is suitable for all age groups but you must be at least 10 years old and 1.47 mts (4 ft 6 in) to race at full speed (for those who don’t qualify the kart’s maximum speed can be reduced to 10 km/hr). Helmets are mandatory and are provided at no additional cost. There is a computer controlled timing system which provides pilots with their lap times displayed on a monitor in the pit area. Day 5 – Nairobi

After your breakfast you will leave all the breezes, the beach, and buffets, the palms to start your journey back to Nairobi. You will take a train and proceed further towards the major capital city of Kenya. You are expected to arrive in Nairobi at 4.00pm
