Day 1 – Depart from Nairobi to Amsterdam | 9 Days Western Europe Tour
Day 2 – Arrival – Amsterdam
You will be met and transported to your hotel for overnight in Amsterdam
Day 3 –Amsterdam to Brussels
We will travel from Amsterdam to Brussels, BE in the morning, including a photo stop at the Atomium. Visit the Manneken Pis at the Grand Place when we get there. We’re going to Paris, France for the evening, where there’s a chance to go on an optional nighttime city tour.
Day4: Rouen – Mont Saint Michel – Rouen or Paris – Versailles – Paris
We will travel across charming and historic Paris, France, today. Our journey stops at the Eiffel Tower, the Place de la Concorde, and the Arc de Triomphe. You have the option to climb the Eiffel Tower or spend time exploring the neighborhood and eating lunch. Following that, we will spend the rest of the day touring the Palace of Versailles and then conclude our tour back in Paris.
Day 5: Rouen – Paris – Chateau Thierry (During Olympic) or Paris
starts with a pleasant Seine River cruise. Following lunch, we head to the Louvre, where you can spend a few hours perusing among hundreds of pieces, enhancing your experience. After that, you can choose to shop at the storied Galleries Lafayette department store or enjoy a four-course French supper and show.
Day 6: Chateau Thierry – Reims – Luxembourg or Paris – Reims – Luxembourg
We’re going to Reims, FR today. This is where the Reims Cathedral is located. We will then take a car to Luxembourg to see the Adolphe Bridge and the Place de la Constitution.
Day 7: Luxembourg – Trier, Koblenz – Frankfurt
We will depart Luxembourg early in the morning and travel to Trier, Germany. Here you will be able to see the beautiful cathedral of the city as well as the Karl Marx Haus Museum from the exterior. After that, we’ll go by car to Koblenz, DE, where we can go on a Rhine River boat excursion. We will go to Frankfurt, DE, after lunch, where we will take a visit to the Romer. Our overnight will be in Frankfurt.
Day 8: Frankfurt – Bonn – Cologne – Amsterdam
We will depart from Frankfurt and go to Bonn, DE, the capital of West Germany from 1949 to 1990. Following our tour of the Old Town Hall on the outskirts of the city marketplace square, we will go to Beethoven Haus, the composer Ludwig Van Beethoven. After that, the bus will transport us to Cologne, DE so we may visit the Cologne Cathedral, which is home to the renowned twin spires that draw in over 20,000 visitors every day. We’ll wrap up the day’s travels by going to Amsterdam or a neighboring city for the evening after lunch and some free time to explore the Cologne retail district.
Day 9: Zaandam back to Amsterdam
Stop by the wildly popular Zaanse Schans model town. You will then return to Amsterdam. You might choose to go on an optional one-hour pre-dinner canal boat after touring a well-known diamond factory. Afterward, you can stroll to Dam Square, one of the most impressive locations in the city. Here are some photo ops, along with free time for shopping or sightseeing.
