Amboseli National Reserve is located in Kajiado County in Kenya. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Here is where you get at ease the free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. The spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro at the Amboseli National Reserve are breath taking.
The park can easily be accessed by road through Namanga on Arusha – Nairobi road through Meshanani gate or through Emali. Kimana Gate also which is near Oloitoktok can be used. The access from Mombasa is mainly through Tsavo West National Park
By Air: Airstrips: The park has a single airstrip for light aircrafts at Empusel gate. Other airstrips exist at Kilimanjaro Buffalo Lodge and Namanga town
